I'm really impressed with the new HS-10.
I've been waiting for this camera ever since I found out about it a month ago and flew down to the camera shop as soon as they told me it had arrived. I had read all the specs and seen the pics of the camera, and wanted to find out if it was all style and no substance, or if there really was a heart inside the beast. The shop owners opened the box for me to inspect, attached the screen protector, strap and lens cap string, and I took it for a spin before I even left the shop. Before I say anything more, I'd better let you know my digital camera background. I've been using them ever since they first came out about 10 years ago. Sony DSC-30, Kyocera SL300 (world's first 3.3 fps limited only by size of memory card), Nikon S4, Canon 350D, Nikon s10, Nikon P90, Pentax k-x. In addition, I have always used mobile phones with cameras- xcute (world's first 3 mpxl mobile phone camera), SE k810, k850, Motorola ZN5, Samsung Innov8, SE Satio. So i've used a wide range of digital...

Finepix HS10 Exposed
Well...I did it! I made up my mind and purchased the Fujifilm Finepix HS10. After months of reviews, trials and testing, mainly between the HS10 the Sony HX1 and the Canon SX20 I spent the $500.00. First let me say the HX1 and the SX20 are great cameras and both offer things that should be incorporated into the HS10 and then again the HS10 has items that those cameras could use as well.I am a professional photographer and have been for over 30 years, I have owned everything from a Yashica TL-Electro to a Fujifilm AX-3 to a Nikon F3...and those were my early years. Since then I have had Fuji's lone of S Pro cameras as well as Nikon's and Canon's pro equipment so I know a few things about cameras and their capabilities. Ok, for my HS10 review.First let me say I was not sure about the manual zoom lens on a digital camera but then again I was used to them since I have plenty of SLR's. However, I must say I really like the manual zoom for still photographs but when...

HS20EXR First Look
I had spent my first day with the HS20EXR and was generally very pleased with the functionality and performance. Make no mistake, this is not a DSLR, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. This camera packs some capabilities and features that I would dream to have in one of my DSLRs. Although it's not a large camera, for those who've used the HS10, you'll already know that the build feels solid and the handling is somewhat like a smaller DSLR. The menu system is fairly easy to navigate and more common functions, like exposure, focus, and flash modes are easily accessible via dedicated controls. Be prepared to spend an hour or so getting familiar with the controls and menus - it may be intimidating if you're brand new to this type camera, but most experienced photographers will pick it up quickly.A couple of early concerns materialized. First, I experience the temperature warning display that has been noted in some early reviews. However, I didn't see any...

Great superzoom camera, what the HS10 should have been
The HS20 shares the same body and lens as the HS10, but has been beefed up with much faster and more capable electronics. It is what the brain-dead HS10 should have been. After all, it should be expected that one of the biggest uses for a superzoom camera would be shooting live action long distance shots and sporting events. This sort of photography makes full use of the superzoom lens, but does need very fast focusing and fast shot to shot times.I had earlier purchased, reviewed, and returned the HS10. The camera had terrific features, but was just too slow for anything more than predictable portrait shots. The HS20 focuses faster and processes and stores images faster than the HS10. Not as fast as a full fledged DSLR, but close enough. An example of a few runs I did on this camera: At 16Meg Fine resolution, with RAW turned off, I could get off 16 shots in 20 seconds, manually clicking away. With RAW and JPG both turned on, the speed dropped sharply to...

Awfully GOOD bridge camera!
I have had this camera for several weeks with all sorts of shooting involved.I have over 40 years experience as a photographer, both as an enthusiast and part-time professional. I don't know-it-all nor do I pertend too, I'll just give my impression as honestly as I can. I purchased it as an all-around shoot everything without having to pack a DSLR and lenses. For an amateur, I'd say it would be quite easy to learn to get many good shots. For the intermediate user, it has a number of features that will help you produce outstanding shots. For a more advanced photographer such as myself, all of the manual controls and abilities to "replicate" Fuji's film qualities are much appreciated.Overall, I find the quality of the construction to be among the best out there in terms of a "less than DSLR". The photos I have shot are very good given the size of the sensor. Color reproduction is outstanding, low light performance is just OK, speed is good,...

Everything I hoped it would be
I have been an amateur photographer since I got a Asahi Pentax spotmatic II while I was in the army in 1971. I eventually had many lenses and accessories for it. When it was damaged beyond repair I got a Nikon autofocus 35mm. I was happy with that too. This is my 3rd Fuji digital camera, I loved the first one which I eventually gave to my son and replaced with an S1800 which I did not like. I did a lot of research before I settled on the HS25. The reviews were very good on the HS20 except for noise. The HS25 features a redesigned CMOS to improve that. I was not interested in RAW shooting and I like using AA batteries. Those were the main differences between the HS25 and the HS30 which is $100.00 more. I just unboxed mine last night and spent a lot of time with the owners manual starting to learn all the features available. First, I love the feel of the camera, the quality is first rate. I looked at the Canon SX40 and while the reviews were good, it felt and looked cheap. This camera...

Husband (musician) loves this
My husband says this has helped quite a bit with his mastering, and the quality of the sound is unbeatable for the price. It was easy to hook up and use, as well.

Spark plus for Mercury Outboard 140
Spark plugs (6) more cheaper buying them from Amazon and not from Puerto Rico. When I checked the price locally they were very expensive.

NGK Spark plugs are awsome.
I purchased these as factory replacements for the outboard motor on my Nitro bass boat. The originals lasted 7 years and were still firing in a 2 stroke 150 horsepower outboard. I just recently installed the new plugs and they seem to be performing better than the old ones. If everything at least remains the same I will be completely satisified with the NGK spark plugs.
